INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL CAMERAS

So you have your nice new digital SLR or compact camera, and you've already taken some great photos. But you know there are a lot more functions and features that you haven't used - and the camera manual isn't really any help at all.

Let me help you to de-mystify the functions, symbols, their use, and what the camera manual is really trying to say. (The problem with most manuals, is that they assume you already know the answer to what you are looking for!}

I can structure sessions on a one-to-one basis, depending on your requirements and needs, or

if you have 3 or more friends that also need some help, there is a short course of 10 hours over 4 weeks where we also do 2 practical sessions (an early morning field trip, and also a night session) where we put into practice:-

camera pre-sets and scene modes

flash and fill-flash,

framing your subject,

macro,

lighting and back lighting,

slow and fast shutter speeds,

and depth of field.

 

Private lessons are $80/hour

Short course is $150 per person (minimum of 4 people)
